Alicia Witt, a singer, songwriter and pianist, is well-known for her work as an actor. But, she's been performing music since the time she began appearing on screen. Following a stint as primarily an pianist, she dropped an eponymous EP in 2009 that showcased her clear debt to such artists as Elton John and Billy Joel as well as a confident vocal range to go with the music. Revisionary History (produced by Ben Folds) was her first studio album in 2015. The Conduit was her next album, which made her debut as a co-producer. Alicia Witt appeared in the 1984 David Lynch adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune as Alia Atreides.
